Pankaj Khurana

Pankaj Khurana (PK) has a background in mergers and acquisitions, product pricing, cost analysis, Incentive compensation, budgeting and financial analysis. Pankaj also owns a local business with his wife and manages the financial aspect of the business. Pankaj has volunteered with Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Bridging and United Way in the past to help with local projects in our community.

Shiv Nath Tandon

Shiv Nath Tandon has worked with a multinational cosmetic company, Aveda for 45 years during his stay in the twin cities. First employee of the company he started the Research and Development, Marketing, Procurement among other departments to most recently provide his guidance as a company elder. Assisting the education team on the Company story, education marketing and more.  Shiv Nath a founding member of TheNeedINDeed shares his wisdom and knowledge about living life Consciously. With a lifelong practice of  yoga and a passion for gardening including organic tomato farming.

Krishnan

Subramanian (Kris) Krishnan has worked in many high-profile companies including Valspar during his 40 years based in the Twin Cities. Kris has extensive experience in the areas of corporate finance, operations, international business, strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently he was a CFO for a $360M nonprofit health organization and served as CFO for a public company. Kris has been a member of several Boards as a Director for several startup companies and nonprofit organization in the area. Kris was a member of the Board including being the Chair and in leadership role at Courage Center and continued to be on the board of the merged Courage Sister Kinney Foundation until 2017.  A member of the Board of AAA Minneapolis for the past 14 years and currently is the Vice Chair of the Board. A founding member of TheNeedInDeed nonprofit organization. A Board member of a nonprofit called Enerchange that focuses on climate change.

Sushumna Aggarwal

Sushmi’s corporate career started while a student at the University of Minnesota. The Bachelor of Science degree lead her into 10 years of work experience as a junior perfumer. After finishing MBA in Information Systems, Sushmi began work with a fortune 500 company. With over 20 years in Information Technology consultation. Sushmi has been a volunteer with multiple twin  cities nonprofit organizations for over 30 years, serving as the president of the Hindu Society of Minnesota and a member on the Asian Pacific endowment Grants Board with the St. Paul Companies. She a certified Yoga Instructor from the University of Minnesota offering free Yoga classes to the community and is a founding member, currently serving as the President for TheNeedindeed,

Dr. Rewati Teeparti

Wellness coach who believes in small but significant change from within... because healthy you starts from inside. In my spare time I am a physician, Hospitalist and geriatrician. Few of my passions are reading, painting, music and gardening. My addiction is cooking and culinary experiments with eastern spices to reduce inflammation and autoimmunity.

Dr. Renu Kumar

Dr. Renu Kumar has served as a faculty member at Minnesota State and College system for fourteen years. She has managed several NSF-funded and Minnesota State-funded grants with a STEM focus, promoting undergraduate research and other innovative pedagogies, including a current NSF STEM grant. She serves as a mentor for undergraduate researchers. Dr. Kumar is an active member of the American Society of Microbiology and has delivered presentations and published several journal articles in the field of microbiology.

Dr. Kumar has volunteered her time to several STEM-related initiatives including the Minnesota Microscopy Society since 2001 encouraging kids to become interested in science through microscopy demonstrations during science events, such as Super Science Saturday at 3M, Science Fest, Mathematics Family Fun Fair at the University of Minnesota and Microscopy Day at Minnesota Science Museum. She has volunteered to be a Judge at the Minnesota Academy of Sciences at the State Science Fair and is a lifetime member of the Minnesota Academy of science. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science in Genetics and Ph.D. in Genetics and Microbial Biotechnology.

Leena Khurana

Leena khurana is an entrepreneur with a background in Nursing and Biochemistry. She is the owner/ operator of a restaurant franchise. Leena’s passion lies in building strong relationships with the community, mentoring youth and spending time with friends and family.

Arvind Gupta

Arvind is currently working as Assistant Vice President Technologies at U.S. Bank, where he is responsible for Site Reliability of Bank Applications. His prior experience includes a number of different roles in Target, BestBuy, State Farm Insurance, Capgemini etc. In past, he has served the board of Chance Foundation, Agrawal Samaj of Minnesota and volunteered his time to
ISKCON. Currently he is serving the board of TheNeedinNeed as the fundraising chair. He lives in Plymouth, Minnesota with his wife, son & daughter.

Fazel Haris

Fazel received his MBA in strategy and finance from Carlson School of Management after completing undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of Calicut. He works as a solutions architect consultant for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects, and his recent work has been primarily in the field of Healthcare Informatics. Fazel is a gifted singer and the founder of Minnesota based band Tarang whose inaugural concert in 2001 was attended by over 1000 people. As an active member of the Minnesota community for over 30 years, he has volunteered for several organizations in the Twin Cities and helped organize many events and concerts to help community organizations and charitable causes.
